There's a possibility that if you Mapquest or Googlemap directions, you'll get lost. Print the following directions for accurate navigation.
(A) From I-77, Marietta, OH
Exit #1 to historic Marietta, follow signs for Rt. 7 South through downtown Marietta and into the residential section.
Continue on Rt. 7 as it turns LEFT on WASHINGTON STREET to cross the Washington Street Bridge.
Immediately exit RIGHT and curve right toward the Muskingrum River.
At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn LEFT onto Gilman Avenue.
Go about half a mile to the McDonalds and turn LEFT just before onto GROVES STREET. This street takes you to the top of Harmar Hill, site of Fort Harmar. Stop and turn RIGHT onto Rt. 676 heading west.
In 3 miles you go down and back up another major hill. Two miles further you'll curve around the church at Churchtown, and exactly 3 miles further you'll see our big log home immediately in front of you. The driveway curves LEFT in front of the house to the training building. If you're arriving for a cabin rental, check in at the house and I'll take you to your cabin.
(B) From I-70, coming east from Columbus, OH
Take the I-77 South exit #180, heading toward historic Marietta, and then follow the directions above (A) through Marietta.
OR, take exit 155 in Zanesville and head south and east on Rt. 60. You'll follow the scenic Muskingum River most of the way, and this cuts about 15 minutes drive time. Speed limits are 55 and under, with a couple of stop lights in small towns.
At Beverly, Ohio, you turn RIGHT at the first light onto Rt. 339 South (going through Waterford, the location of our post office).
After 6.8 miles you'll enter WATERTOWN and TURN LEFT onto Rt. 676, and follow directions from Watertown (below E).
(C) From I-70, coming west and south from Pittsburgh, PA
Take the I-77 South exit #180, heading toward historic Marietta, Ohio, (exit #1) and then follow the directions (above A) through Marietta.
(D) From I-77, coming north from Charleston, WV
Exit #1 to historic downtown Marietta, follow directions through Marietta (above A).
OR, exit to Rt. 50 west and follow directions from Rt. 50 (below E).
(E) From Rt. 50, coming west from Clarksburg, WV
Route 50 west winds through downtown Parkersburg, WV, and crosses the Ohio River, and continues west through Belpre.
After 5 miles you'll turn RIGHT to head NORTH on Rt. 339. Stay on Rt. 339 for about 13-15 miles
Turn RIGHT at WATERTOWN to head east on Rt. 676 (speed limit is 45-55, but you'll want to go slower than that).
Go 1.5-to-2 miles along the streambed, heading east toward Marietta. When the road starts climbing and curving out of the streambed our property is on the left. You'll PASS a rustic gate, our pond, one of our cabins, a second small gate, and come to the THIRD GATE, large log home on the LEFT. The driveway takes you past the house to the training building. If you're arriving for a cabin rental, check in at the house and I'll take you to your cabin.
(F) From Rt. 550, coming east from Athens, OH
You can take Rt. 50 to Rt. 339 and follow directions above (E) -- OR you can take the scenic route, Rt. 550 east for 30 miles, through Barlett to Barlow, then turn LEFT onto Rt. 339, come about 5 miles north to Watertown, turning RIGHT onto Rt. 676.
